Annemie Twardawa studied puppet building in Argentina at the Acting and Puppetry school in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires (mostly with Adriana Sobrero and Pablo Di Pasquo) and later at the reknowned puppetry school Ernst Busch Berlin (with Ingo Mewes and Karin Tiefensee).
Her most recent puppets are a Chelsea Manning puppet and a hyena for the lovefuckers show “Return of Ishtar”. Together with the lovefuckers and the stagedesigners she won the renowned Stella Award of Austria for best stage and puppet design.
